He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edaphell Hyman Gibbs and William Earl Gibbs, Sr.; his brother James Alton Gibbs; his children, Brandi Renee Dillmore and William Earl "Rusty" Gibbs, III; his grandsons, Brendan and Carter Dillmore; and his sisters, Cheryl Gibbs Galloway (Jack), Cecelia Gibbs Burbage (Bill) and Kathy Gibbs Ford.
