He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ralph and Florence Watson Maclay; and his wife Virginia Ann Maclay. He is survived by: his children, Audrey M. Shaw (David) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Patti M. Cribb (Jed) of Florence and Michael Maclay (Niki) of Anderson, SC; his sisters, Patricia Elliott of Macon, GA and Marjorie Travis of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, Matthew Shaw, Caroline Shaw Sullivan (Sean), Anne-Davis Shaw, Devin Cribb and Kylie Cribb; and his great grandchild John David Sullivan.
