She was predeceased by: her parents, Jazeps Bozevnieks and Darta Garais; and her husband Boris. She is survived by: her children, Ivars Jaunakais (Daryl) of Charlotte, NC, Maris Jaunakais (Cheri) of Sarasota, FL, Ilona Timanus of Kennett Square, PA, Yasmine Shoemaker of Rock Hill, SC and Dinah Jaunakais (Jack Ketterl) of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Lord Ivars Jaunakais (Lady Hannah), James Jaunakais (Heather), Lea Jaunakais, Andrea Schafer (Brendan), Marissa George (Anthony), C. Maria Jaunakais, Kristin Timanus (Jonathan Schultz), Camila Hill (Mike), Sarah Shoemaker (Ladson Lee) and Anna Bell (Erik). She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kornelija Jaunakais name to the American Diabetes Association.
