He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Charles King and Dalma Jester King-Manning; his son Mike King; his sisters, Arlene Crisson, Betty Mattison and Wilma Mattison; his grandson Troy Mauldin; and his stepfather George Manning.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hamby King; his children, Morris King II (Janis), Kathy Baughman (Sam) and Kim Mahaffey (Mark); his daughter-in-law Linda King; and his grandchildren, Jodi Whitfield, Gina Thompson-Leonard (J. P.), Adrienne MacLeod (Corey), Corey Cothran, Alicia Mahaffey, Asa Mahaffey, Kyle King and John King.
