She was predeceased by: her former husband James Leverette "Jimmy" Ziegler; and her siblings, Robin Stroud, Aubrey Stroud and Margaret Mercer. She is survived by: her children, Greg Ziegler (Sharon), Ann Vaughn (Lee) and Sandra Armstrong; her sisters, Weezie Schultz, Willie Mosley (O. B.) and Jean Kinard (Clyburn); her grandchildren, Jimmy Vaughn (Kristy), DeeDee Vaughn, Armstrong (Shelley), Leigh Anne Ziegler (Maddie), Daniel Ziegler and Heidi Ziegler; and her great grandchildren, Peighton Vaughn, Thomas Vaughn, Reagan Reynolds and Jordan Reynolds.
