He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Andrew Bertsch and Melba Lorene Jones Bertsch; and his sisters, Lois Ziels and Sharon Moss. He is survived by: his children, Greg Bertsch (Rosemary), Debbie Staarmann and Dee Dee Bertsch; his grandchildren, Alex Staarmann, Grant Staarmann, Lillie Bertsch, Jennifer Bertsch, Eliza Bertsch and Charlie Bertsch; and his sister Becky Westveer.
