He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lander Boyd Stoddard, Sr. and Selina Parker Roberts Stoddard; his spouse Joyce A. Stoddard; his son-in-law Mike Burns; his son Eugene C. Stoddard Jr.; his son-in-law Gene Darby; his grandchildren, Melissa Joyce Burns and James Creighton Darby; and his siblings, Robert, Boyd, Charles, Harry Stoddard, Lina S. Hopkins and Carolina S. Culbertson. He was also cherished by four children, eight grandchildren, and 15 great- grandchildren.
