She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Eugene Hughes and Clara Mae Dockery Hughes; her brother Johnny Mack Hughes; and her stepsons, Steven Coleman and Lance Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa Shugart and Chad Coleman; her stepdaughters, Tammy Wright and Claudia Hulon; her grandchildren, Chase Coleman, Kyle Coleman, Lila Johnson, Bryce Coleman and Stella Coleman; and her siblings, Julia Ann Fua (Lance) and Wayne Hughes (Frances).
The family requests that donations/memorials be made in Ms. Templeton's name to Fletcher Funeral and Cremation Service 1218 N. Main Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
