She is survived by : her son Gary Rice (Betty Haynes); and her granddaughters, Alexandra Cunningham Rice and Jacqueline Kirkland Rice.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (265 Lee Rd, Waterloo, SC 29384).
