He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles Robinson and Laura Pressley Robinson; his brother Jim "Crack" Robinson; and his grandson Roscoe "Rocky" Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Maggie B. Sullivan Robinson of Greenville; his children, Laura Glendale Chapman of Greenville, Pastor Robinnette R. Smith (Robert) of Greenville, James C. Robinson, Jr. (Brenda) of Mauldin and Jackie Ray Robinson (Nancy) of Piedmont; and his friend Hattie Earl of Fountain Inn. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
