He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Patterson and Eva Azilee Patterson; his son David Patterson; and his siblings, Nellie D. Patterson, Willie Mae Patterson, Pearl Patterson, Azilee Mease, Shirley Wilkinson and George Patterson.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Daniel Patterson (Alison) of Michigan; his daughter-in-law Pamela Patterson of Easley; his grandsons, Keith Patterson (Amy) of Easley, Shane Patterson and David Patterson (Libby) of Ohio; and his brothers, Billy Patterson (Barbara) and Herman Patterson (Delona). He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
It is suggested that attendees wear a mask during the service.
