He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Davis and Willie Caldwell Davis; and his brothers, Butch and Donnie Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Catherine "Renie" Raney (Tim) of Greenville and Karren Barton (Alvin) of Fountain Inn; his grandchildren, Justin Raney (Heather) of Taylors, Blaine and Mackenzie Barton of Fountain Inn; his sister Janie D. Simpson; and his brother-in-law William Milam (Bunny) of Simpsonville.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park. in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: American Kidney Foundation or to the James Monroe Mission House of Trinity UMC, Fountain Inn.
