She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomas Shackelton and Irene Judy Pentek Shackelton. She is survived by: her children, Walter Densmore (Dana) of Fountain Inn, David Densmore (Beverly) of Spartanburg, Christine Brown, Sharon Gay, Jennifer Densmore (Chavis Barksdale) of Fountain Inn and Stephanie Forrest of Gray Court; and her brothers, Charles Shackelton and Michael Shackelton of Florida. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
