She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Taylor, Jr. and Orine Cain Taylor; and her siblings, Dorothy Jean Knight, John M. Taylor, III, Jimmy W. Taylor and Tommie Taylor.

She is survived by: her son Richard Scott Timmons; her grandchildren, Adalyn and Kaleigh Timmons; and her brother Michael Wayne Taylor.
