He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Aloysius Effenberger and Virginia Margaret Miller Effenberger; and his brother Edmund Effenberger. He is survived by: his children, Paul Effenberger, Jr. (Anne), Nicole James (Nicholas) and Allie Effenberger; and his siblings, Alexander Effenberger, Joan Robertson, Virginia Hogan, Clair Effenberger and Mary Christine Chaney.
