She is survived by: her parents, Robert Anderson and Renee Gooding McDannald; her brothers, William Robert McDannald (Billy) and Jack Werner McDannald; her grandparents, William O. (Billy), Juanita Gooding and Mary Garrett McDannald (Molly); and her pet Jake. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

“Rachel leaving this world is a blow to humanity. She was and is a wonderful young lady, who always was kind and thoughtful to her classmates and to myself. I spoke with her many times since she left HHS and was so proud for her to be finding her way. My heart is filled with her smile, her energy as well as her laughter. I wish I had the words or the insight to help her family cope with such a loss, but alas I do not. However, I have thoughts, prayers, love and a real sense of loss. Brehmer”
