He is survived by: his children, Cathy Faye Gilreath (Jeff) and Daniel Lee "Danny" Barbrey (Darla); his sisters, Lucy Mahon and Adeline Savage; his grandchildren, Paige Gilreath Eakins (Steven), Bethany Gilreath Turner (James), Andrew Mark Gilreath and Margaret Ann "Maggie" Pyland (Benjamin); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Stephanie, Braylee Eakins and Ty Pyland.
