She was predeceased by: her spouse Roger Hartsock; her parent Rufus Aaron; her stepson Bill Hartsock; her siblings, Elizabeth Young, Johnnie, Arthur, Neal, Ray, Colie, Bobby Joe and Heyward Burton; and her great grandchild Mark Chappell.
She is survived by: her parent Mallie Sanders Burton; her children, Carole Jean Knight Smith (Robert), Stephen Lee Knight, Stanley Bruce Knight (Ellen) and Nancy Hartsock; and her brother Franklin D. Burton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
