She was predeceased by: her spouse Earley "Bunt" Horne; her parents, Arthur Vance Burgess and Ida Stines Burgess; her sons, Terry and Timothy Horne; and her siblings, Howard, Larkin, Jay Burgess, Blanche Palmer and Vivian Rochester.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marcella Smith (Isaac) and Bruce Burgess (Peggy) of Jonesville, SC.; her daughter Sherry Pettit (Michael "Pete" Pettit); and her daughters-in-law, Debbie Horne of Fountain Inn and Debra Tollison of Summerville, GA..
