He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Helen Kehs Spaar; his son Stephen Spaar; and his siblings, Charles Spaar and Barbara Wieand.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Seip; his sons, Michael Spaar (Pam), Eugene Spaar (Ann) and John Spaar; his siblings, Leonard Spaar (Cathy) and Lucille Fox; and his grandchildren, Jason Spaar, Gretchen Smith, Lisa Black, Jonathan Spaar and Briana Beverstock.
