She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Mac Sparks, Sr.; her parents, George Gordon of Washington and Martha Sellars Gordon; her stepson Billy Sparks; and her siblings, Marie Gordon, Aretta Ramsey, James Gordon, Winfred Gordon and Gene Gordon.

She is survived by: her son Ricky Lee Duckett (Gail) of Mooresville, NC; her stepchildren, Reverend Joe Mac Sparks, Jr. (Vivian) of Gaffney and Cheryl Corbett (Kevin) of Gaffney; her granddaughters, Angela Manns (Aaron), Melissa Griggs (Justin) and Alison Hainley (Brian); and her stepgrandchildren, Kaitlin Corbett, Jennifer Pittman and Mike Rabon (Jennifer).
