He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen Sawyer Godfrey; his mother Elizabeth Godfrey Head; his stepfather Frank J. Head; his son John Rexrode (Jackie) of Pacolet; his siblings, Wayne Head of Anderson, Tony Head (Teresa) of Easley, Linda Staton of Greenville and Judy Crider (Jimmy) of Anderson; and his grandchildren, Brooks Harvey and Bailey Harvey.
