He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burton Humphries and Annie Pearl Skinner Humphries; his siblings, William "Mutt", Maynard, Melvin, Walter Humphries, Ann King and Sue Cobb; and his great grandchild Riley Jane Vaughan.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Mathis Humphries; his children, Steve Humphries (Tammy) of Spartanburg and Sharlene Queen (Ray) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Kesha Jones (Jason) of Rhine, GA, Bryant Everhart of Greenwood, Shea Everhart (Jesenia) of Spartanburg, Shain Lynch, Ariel Vaughan (Jonathan) of Scottsville, KY, Kaitlan Queen of Gaffney and Landon Queen of Gaffney; his great grandchildren, Georgia Kate, Griffin, Emily Jones, Ethan, Kaleb, Peyton Everhart, Coby, Kyndal, Kyler, Jayden, Ashton Everhart and Dawson Vaughan; and his sister Gayle McCraw of Gaffney.
