It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Turner (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Virginia Clary Mathis; her stepfather Albert A. Mathis, Jr.; her son Donald Bright; and her sister-in-law Shirley Bright. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Turner; her sister Janet Parris of Myrtle Beach; her grandson Johnathan Bright; her great grandchild Elizabeth Bright; her siblings-in-law, Charles Bright of Spartanburg and Judith McCraw (Wayne) of Gaffney; and her nephews, Rusty Parris, Alan Parris (Marybeth), Jan Rochester and Gail Ray.
