She was predeceased by: her parent William Jackson Thompson; and her sister Joanne Wilson. She is survived by: her parent Ophelia Inez Byars Thompson; her children, Billy Reynolds (Ranee) of Asheville, NC and Kathy Snipes (Aaron) of Blacksburg; her sisters, Juanita Wells of Pacolet and Patsy Thompson of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Jill Reynolds, Clay Snipes and Kallie Snipes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Corinth Baptist Church, 190 Corinth Road, Gaffney, SC 29340.
