With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Putman (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2019 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Palmer and Mary Curtis Palmer; her daughter Frieda Marie Matthews; and her siblings, John Harley Palmer, Dorothy Sutton, Fay Fowler, Frances Wagstaff and Opal Sanders.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Buddy Putman; her daughter April Newton (Greg) of Spartanburg; and her grandchildren, Bradley Newton and Lydia Newton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1449, Gaffney, SC, 29342.
