It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Upchurch (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on October 27, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent John Calvin Upchurch; his brother Bobby Upchurch; and his half-brothers, Dean Upchurch and J. D. Upchurch. He is survived by: his parent Margaret Peterson Upchurch; his spouse Joan Hale Upchurch; his son Eric Upchurch (Donna) of Inman; his sisters, Margie Bostic (Fred) of Lexington and Judy Lester (William) of Gaffney; and his granddaughters, Ashley Ruth Upchurch, Morgan Ansley Painter and Madyson Averi Painter.
