He is survived by: his spouse Kay Kirby Blanton Pettit; his children, Randall Pettit (Mary Ann) of Belleville, Chris Blanton (Lisa) of Gaffney, Lynne Pettit Hecker of Travelers Rest and Denise Blanton Parker of Barnwell; and his grandchildren, Joe Blanton, Hiley Blanton (Stormy), Avery MacDowell, Connor Parker, Stacey Pettit, Steve Pettit and Bridgette Peak (Kent).
