He was predeceased by: his parent Maxie Dean Stroupe; his stepparent Ned Horn; and his siblings, Jimmy Ray Sisk and Melissa Ann Stroupe. He is survived by: his parent Benay Sisk Horn of Gaffney; his daughter Tabitha Peterson of Gaffney; and his siblings, Dennis Stroupe (Melinda) of Gaffney, Ronnie Stroupe (Beverly) of Gaffney, Darrell Stroupe of Gaffney, Steve Stroupe of Gaffney, Jackie Spencer (Doug) of Blacksburg, Libby Lanning of Blacksburg and Rebecca Stroupe of Blacksburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
