He is survived by : his wife Alice Bonner; his children, Toney Littlejohn (Cynthia), Gantry Bonner, Marshall Littlejohn, Jody Leach, James Littlejohn "Junior" (Sophia), Nekima Bonner, Nicole Bonner and Cenora Littlejohn; his nieces, Kathy Littlejohn and Charlotte Bonner; his son John Fowler (Hillary); his children-in-law, Edward McBeth and Asherla Stevenson Bonner; his siblings, Nerer Bonner Jr., Minnie Bonner and Angela Norris (Darren); his stepsiblings, Ronald Oglesby (Betty), Donald Oglesby (Pat), John Oglesby, Larry Oglesby (Debra), Fanina Smith and Novella Oglesby; his sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Bonner, Millie Vanlue, Faye Peeler, Mary Ellis and Minnie Ellis; and his close friend James "Butterball" Hollis Sr.. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
