She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Wheat; her parents, Benjamin Elzie Lemons and Sudie Bailey Lemons; and her siblings, Harold Lemons, Larry Lemons, Floyd Lemons, Lucille Lemons, Joyce Gardner and Elizabeth Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Wheat (Viva) of Gaffney, David Wheat of Gaffney, Sharon Davidson of Gaffney and Tammy Scruggs (Johnny) of Gaffney; her sister Kim Yarbro (Jeff) of Kings Mountain, NC; and her grandchildren, Shannon Coffey (Jason), Ken Koonce (Joanne), Leigh Wheat, Wayne Matthews (Skye), Larry Terwilliger (Jada), Erika Wyatt (Michael), Faith Wheat and Kayce Gamble. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
