She was predeceased by: her spouse Joseph Commodore Swayngim, Sr.; and her parents, Henry DeBurie and Loretta Ashcraft DeBurie. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Swayngim II (Sylvia, Raymond Swayngim) of Gaffney, Edward Swayngim (Lupe) of Gaffney, Loretta Inman of Gaffney, Bernadette Swayngim of Gaffney and Kathleen Swayngim of Gaffney; and her sister Norene Johnson of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
