He is survived by: his significant other Betty Jean Richards Coggins; his children, Teresa Belcher (Rick) of Gaffney, Karen Patterson (Scott) of Blacksburg, Sheila Alexander (Nathan) of Inman, Charles Coggins (Judy) of Gaffney and Kenneth Coggins (Tara) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Stacy Patterson, Kevin Coggins (Jerran), Dusty Patterson, Scotty Patterson Jr., Derrick Coggins (Ashley), Megan Taylor (Trey), Matthew Coggins (Taylor), Andrew Alexander and Avery Alexander; his great grandchildren, Enslee, Emmi and Lexi; and his brother James Albert Coggins.
