He is survived by: his wife Libby Smith Mathis; his children, Todd Mathis (Cully), Kelly Henson (Mike) and Clayton Mathis (Carrie); and his grandchildren, Margo Mathis, Judith Mathis, Nima Mathis, Athan Henson and Atley Henson.
