He was predeceased by: his parents, David H. Cain and Carrie Elizabeth "Bird" Haulbrooks; and his sister Shirley Hall. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Harold Cain (Brittany) of Gaffney and Elizabeth "Beth" Cain (Tony Byars) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Carla Childers (Nevin), Lillian Cain and Neveah Upchurch; his great grandchildren, Colson Childers, Brayden Childers and Aliyah Matson; his close friend Nell Gentry of Gaffney; and his nephew David Hall (Joyce) of Gaffney.
