He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grady Mac Pirkey and Helen Modene Godfrey Wyatt; his children, Daniel C. Pirkey of Gaffney and Haley Carter (Jake) of Gaffney; his siblings, Randy Dean Pirkey (Carol), James Mac Pirkey (Jimmy), Linda and Anna Rebecca Vassey (Becky) of Gaffney; his grandson Maxan Carter; and also Donnie of Gaffney.
