He is survived by: his spouse Kay Carroll Ewaldz; his children, Jonathan David Ewaldz (Susanne) of Blythewood and Amy Ewaldz McMahan (Brandon) of Taylors; his brothers, Donald Ewaldz (Rosanne) of Rockford, Illinois, Jean Ewaldz (Mary) of Rockford, Illinois and Mike Ewaldz of Rockford, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Parker David Ewaldz, Molly Elise Ewaldz and John Sawyer McMahan.
