It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Hughey of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Hughey and Willie McAbee Hughey; his son Christopher Dean Hughey; and his brother Carl Hughey. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Butler Hughey; his children, Gregory Scott Hughey (Sherry) of Chesnee and Shandon Hughey of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Lauren Fowler, Kaycee Fowler, Taylor Dawson (Alec), Cassady Fowler, Alana Hughey and Matthew Hass; and his great grandchildren, Hayzlee Weese and Ivy Dawson.
