She was predeceased by: her husband Ted Pennington; her parents, Clarence Patterson and Cleo Guyton Patterson; her daughter Janice Lee Grigg; her grandchildren, April Crocker and Joey Crocker; her great grandchild Tara Calderon; and her siblings, Iva Jean Jackson, Clarence Patterson, Jr. and Joe Dean Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Eugene Pennington (Karen) of Gaffney, Marilyn Pennington Crocker of Blacksburg and Karen Pennington Upchurch (Niles) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Amanda Luna, Samantha Calderon (David), Dora Evans (Benji), Karen Barnhill (Kevin), Beth Dover (Ronnie), Derek Pennington (Kasey), Justin Pennington and Brandi Vega (Dillon). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
