It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Briggs (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2020, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Harold Briggs; her parents, Stewart E. Slocum and Louie H. Slocum; her sons, Robert Harold "Bob" Briggs and Allan Richard Briggs; and her brother Albert Slocum.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Emily Briggs of Gaffney and Cheryl Briggs of Gaffney; her grandchildren, Rachael Conroy (Jon), Shawn Briggs, Dean Briggs (Amanda) and Bonnie Briggs; and her great grandchildren, Keagan, Brylie, Aubryn Conroy, Mackenna, Dylan, Dakota and Trevor Briggs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
