He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ellis and Ruth Tate Ellis; and his brother Willie Dean Ellis. He is survived by: his spouse Minnie Ellis; his children, Natarsha Kirby (George), Kay Fuller (Butch), Fatia Boyd (Chris), James Littlejohn (Sophia), Frederick Robinson and Corey Robinson; his siblings, Frankie Ellis (Mary), Lewis Blanton (Patricia), Faye Peeler (late Rayford Peeler), Millie Vanlue and Alice Bonner (M. C.); and his aunts, Lillie Jones and Rose Rodgers. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
