She was predeceased by: her parent Jack H. Turner; her spouse James Edward Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, Jimmy Turner, Jackie Turner, Douglas Turner and Reba Turner.
She is survived by: her parent Ruth Montgomery Turner; her son The Reverend James "Bucky"; and her sibling's children, Beth Turner Simpson (Jim) of Alpharetta, GA, Mark Turner (Donna) of Evans, GA, John Turner (Melissa) of Huntersville, NC and Carl Parker of Gainesville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1600 W. Floyd Baker Boulevard, Gaffney, SC 29341.
