She was predeceased by: her spouse John Charles Jennings; her parent Clarence Clayton Phillips; her siblings, Bobby Phillips, Dewey Phillips, Margaret Huskey and Grace Vinesett; her stepson Danny Reaves; and also Carl Dean Reaves.

She is survived by: her parent Augusta Allison Phillips; her sister Joann Hoyle (Bruce) of Rutherfordton; and her stepdaughters, Mary Ann Banks of Cummings, GA and Denise Sanstrom of Baton Rouge, LA.
