She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Lee Lanier; her parents, James Rufus "Bunt" Parris and Lucille Owens Parris; and her sister Mary Rollins. She is survived by: her son Jimmy D. Lanier (Kim) of Gaffney; her sister Barbara Allison (Eddie Dean) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Shane Lanier (Kaitlin) and Kayla Lanier.
