She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Graves and Ruby Martin Graves; and her brother Charles E. Graves, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Dwight Horton; her children, Jackie E. Stanford (Wendy) of Blacksburg, Steven R. Stanford (Susan) of Gaffney and Tonya H. Benton (Tim) of Gaffney; her sister Betty Kay Hall of Cowpens; and her grandchildren, Christine Poole (Jason), J. T. Stanford (Leslie) and Haven Shelton (Jacob). She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
