With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Parris (Gaffney, South Carolina), who passed away on February 4, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Martha Dorman Parris; his parents, William David Parris and Annie Mae Stroup Parris; and his siblings, David S. Parris (Bud), Billy Stroup Parris, Roy Parris and Shirley P. Spangler.
He is survived by: his daughter Ruth Parris Queen (Dalon) of Gaffney; his grandchild Margaret Anne Queen; his sisters, Betty P. Deal of Anderson, SC, Peggie P. Morgan of Georgetown, SC and Miriam P. Clayton (Jack) of Hopkins, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Carroll Spangler of Shelby, NC and Miriam Parris of Sellersburg, IN.
