Petty of Shelby, NC, Lorvella Oglesby of Shelby, NC and Jerome Davis (Jaunota) of Gaffney, SC; his siblings-in-law, Ella Mae Hamilton of Gaffney, SC, Sarah Mae Hemphill of Gaffney, SC, Shirley Hemphill of Gaffney, SC, Levania Shepherd of High Point, NC, Mary Hemphill (Chester) of Clemmons, NC, Lewis Hemphill of Gaffney, SC, Chester Hemphill (Mary) of Clemmons, NC. and Sammie Hemphill (Sonya) of Winston Salem, NC; and his close friends, Pete Corry of Gaffney, SC and David Burris of Gastonia, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
