He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Theodore Peterson and Olive Floyd Peterson; and his siblings, James Nathan Peterson, Patsy Bridges, Roxanne Stockert, Linda McCraw Trivette and Debbie Peterson.
He is survived by: his spouse Dennesia Melton Peterson; his children, Robbie Peterson of Gaffney, Barry Peterson of Gaffney and Brittany Rawling (Matt) of Lincolnton, NC; his brother Vernon Peterson (Rachel) of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Arrianna Peterson, Asher Peterson, Kannon Rawling and Madison Rawling.
