It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Starnes (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan William Melton and Gladys Roberts Melton; her brother William Robert Melton, Sr. (Bobby); and her nephew Robbie Melton. She is survived by: her husband Curtis L. Starnes Jr.; her children, Darrell Wayne Starnes (Dottie) of Gaffney and Linda Starnes Pirkey (Jimmy) of Gaffney; her sister-in-law Diane Melton of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Christopher Sprouse, Judd Starnes, Jacob Starnes (Zoie), Dalton Starnes and Colton Starnes; her great grandchild Kinsley Sprouse; and her niece Debbie Jenkins.
