She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Hamrick, Sr.; her parents, Boyd Spurlin and Lula Mae Peeler Spurlin; her siblings, Willard Spurlin, Melvin Spurlin, Boyd Spurlin, Jr., Thurmond "Buck" Spurlin and Thelma Ruth Spurlin Gregory; and her siblings' children, Henry Spurlin, Deloris Suprlin, Judy Spurlin, Donnie Spurlin, Oneil Gregory and Roger Gregory.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Hamrick of Gaffney and Regina Hamrick of Gaffney; her brother Parmer Spurlin (Pat) of Gaffney; and her sibling's children, David Spurlin, Kathy Miller Spurlin, Roger Spurlin, Janice Spurlin, Kay Spurlin, Bruce Spurlin, Beverly Spurlin Ward, James Spurlin and Sharon Gregory Vaughn.
